If you’re looking for a relaxing start to your night, there’s no better place to visit than Nouvelle Bar & Bottle. Just a block away from our apartment community, this space is ideal for gathering with friends in the evening. You can try all types of wine by the glass, but they are also a bottle shop, so you can buy a bottle to drink in-house or take it home if you’d prefer. You will love taking advantage of this space right outside of your home, and it can be a perfect precursor to a longer night out. Their atmosphere is truly unforgettable!
If you’re not much of a wine drinker, you might prefer Against the Grain Brewery. This brewery is connected to Louisville Slugger Field, so you can visit after a game or for any other occasion. Their BBQ makes the perfect meal for an exciting night out in Downtown, while their beer that’s also made on site will make the ideal pairing. This is a Louisville staple for a reason, so don’t forget to visit often.
Classic Night Out
Once the sun goes down, you’ll be ready to hit some bars in Downtown, and there are plenty to choose from. Stevie Ray’s Blues Bar is a classic option with live music almost every night, a full bar, and an amazing, one-of-a-kind vibe that you’ll find nowhere else. If you’re a fan of jazz and blues, you will love making a stop at Stevie Ray’s.
If you’re a bit tired of the Downtown scene, you will love Flanagan’s Ale House in the Highlands District. They’re open late, and their craft beers, pizza, burgers, and more will make this an all-inclusive way to start and end your night. There’s even a shaded patio, so you can enjoy the outdoors even in the heat of the Kentucky summer. It’s located on the well-known 4th street near many bars, so this can be one of many stops throughout your night. However, you can easily spend the full night here with bars like Howl at the Moon Louisville, PBR Louisville, Tavern on Fourth, and The Sports & Social Club within its walls. Whether you want to play games, drink beer, or find amazing food, you can do so here!
Another great way to take in the nightlife scene in Louisville is The Thirsty Pedaler. This pedal bar will take you on a unique tour on a 16-passenger party bike, where you will visit 2-3 bars in Downtown. You can bring your own alcohol on the bike, or just wait to visit the bars and buy your drinks there. This is a great option if you’re new the city, have a celebration, or anything else!
Stay Out Extra Late
If 2am isn’t late enough for you, Louisville has some late-night options you’ll love. If you’re living in Louisville, you will come to be a regular at Taj Louisville. Another amazing lowkey, late-night spot is Third Street Dive. Also open till 4am, this bar is a classic dive bar that’s ideally located on 4th street. With this location, you can end your night here after visiting the other bars along 4th. You will love their classic red barstools and friendly bartenders!
